Crawley vs Wimbledon

Sorry about the late posting... this weekend has been busy. Crawley 3 Wimbledon 2 Great match. Although Crawley were the better team, we had to come back from being behind twice. Wimbledon opened the scoring when Luke Moore found a gap and beat Kuipers in the 26th minute. Their lead lasted all of ei...

Crawley vs QPR

Crawley 2 QPR 4 An entertaining game and the result quite good considering Steve Evans is still experimenting with line ups. He also didn't want to risk injuries to one or two star players. Against a Premier League side we did well. It was up to Charlie Wassamer to provide both our goals although we...

League Two

Crawley started our campaign with a slightly unlucky draw against Port Vale. Port Vale 2 Crawley 2 Crawley had the lion's share of the play in the opening part of the game with at least five chances early on. The deadlock was broken after 39 minutes by Tyrone Barnett. Crawley's lead, however, lasted...

Re: League Two

Crawley 4 Bristol Rovers 1 Crawley put their recent run of losses behind them as they comprehensively and convincingly beat Bristol Rovers, who were a League 1 team last season, at The Broadfield today. From kick-off, The Reds were pushing and The Gas were hoofing lots away. After 14 minutes Tyrone ...

Re: Crawley Town!

Sorry for the break, I have just been magically reconstituted from a lump of pink goo, http://www.mzawf.org/santa-s-trip-from-an-engineer-s-perspective-t354.html Unfortunately, Crawley narrowly lost the replay at Dartford. Dartford 1 - Crawley 0, so Crawley exit the The FA Trophy. I thought all alon...

Re: Crawley Town!

THE REDS GO MARCHING ON! Torquay 0- Crawley Town 1 Amazing, it could have been 3 for Crawley as two second half penalties for Crawley were saved. Matt Tubbs first half goal proved decisive in the end. Crawley now progress to the fifth round of the FA Cup and join an elite group of non-league teams t...

Crawley Town!

Not quite Barclays Premier League yet but CTFC are top of the Blue Square Premier League by 3 points after 13 games. Promotion at the end of the season would earn them a place in the football league. They have a tough match away at Luton on Tues. but whatever the result the 3 point buffer will help....

Re: League Two

Torquay 1 Crawley Town 3 Crawley are top of League 2 on goal difference after they outclassed a fancied Torquay at Plainmoor. Scott Davies opened for The Reds after just 4 minutes with an amazing volley from 25 yards following a rebound from the Torquay wall off a Howell free-kick. The first half wa...

Re: League Two

Cheltenham 3 Crawley 1 The Reds were beaten by the better side on the day as they crashed to a Robins first half offensive that had the game won after 45 minutes. We started well and had Cheltenham under pressure from the whistle. Charlie Wassmer almost scored before things started to go horribly wr...

Re: League Two

Crawley 3 Bradford City 1 Crawley are back to winning ways after the recent run of disastrous results! A game of two halves has never been a truer statement. Bradford opened the scoring after just twelve minutes as our defence slipped up and allowed Reid a soft goal. Oh dear again! Murmurs were circ...
