On the last couple of occasions, we have used the Mumbai Masti in Stephenson Way Three Bridges tel: 01293 553535 and it has been excellent. Also comes with gratis pappadoms and raita. Highly recommended.

I've also heard glowing reports about Zari in Ifield so that is next on the " to try" list.

I heard a rumour that that establishment doesn't necessarily cook the food on site ?

I was suspicious being that they are on an industrial estate rather than a traditional takeaway or restaurant.

I think that they do cook it as the food is delivered in the standard aluminium containers, rather than the plastic microwave type, with the normal scrawl on the lid. Every time the food has been great. I had a lamb vindaloo with special rice a couple of days ago and I'd rate it as the best ever! I had the normal vindaloo "day-after" effects though, but that is to be expected :( Sorry too much detail

Carol is a bit more adventurous than me and she has tried a much wider range of their curries and rices and each time they've been good.

We used to use the Raj at Northgate almost exclusively but had a couple of poor ones, so decided to try the Mumbai out.
