Next along is John Dewdney and his family. I must admit they had me stumped for a while as their surname in the 1881 census is recorded as Dewdery. Also, John was recorded on the census as born in Crawley, when in fact he was born in Shermanbury, Sussex and Sarah, his wife is recorded as also born in Crawley, when it should be Henfield, Sussex.
