The next family along is William Haylor and his family (spelt 'Hayler' in the 1881 census). Again, the family are difficult to track down.
William was a farm Bailiff whose daughter Mary Jane married Alfred Langridge who was gardener to Sir Robert Loder of High Beeches in Slaugham Sussex.

Next along is Thomas Gravely the Baker and his family. The Gravely family were Bakers in Crawley for many years. I believe the picture below shows Harry or Henry Gravelys shop in Crawley High St. around 1907.

Next is John Penfold and his family.
John's Mother was Sarah Penfold (nee Easton 1825-1848) first wife of John Penfold senior 1807-1879.
The second wife was Lydia Penfold (nee Chatfield 1827-1903).

He married Sarah Easton in 1838 Slaugham, Sussex and Lydia Chatfield in 1850 East Grinstead, Sussex.
